What is Near Miss & why it should be investigated?

 

A near miss is an unexpected incident where something goes wrong, but luckily no one is injured and no property is damaged. It serves as a warning signal, revealing that a hazard exists in the workplace. Although no harm occurred this time, a repeated event could easily result in injury, illness, or significant damage.
